As a Microsoft 365 IT Engineer at GreenBean IT, you will be responsible for providing technical support, implementation, and management of Microsoft 365 services for a diverse range of clients. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, ensuring that clients' Microsoft 365 environments are optimized, secure, and aligned with their business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Microsoft 365 Administration and Support:
- Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure Active Directory.
- Provide second and third-line support for Microsoft 365-related issues, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving incidents.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot user accounts, licensing, groups, and permissions in Microsoft 365.
- Implementation and Migration:
- Lead and assist in the deployment and migration of clients to Microsoft 365, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy systems.
- Manage hybrid Exchange environments and Office 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
- Provide technical consultation and best practices during onboarding and migration projects.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices for Microsoft 365, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, and threat protection.
- Work with clients to configure compliance solutions within Microsoft 365, such as retention policies, data loss prevention (DLP), and eDiscovery.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts within the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Collaboration Tools Management:
- Configure and manage Microsoft Teams environments, including channels, meetings, voice, and collaboration settings.
- Provide user support and training on Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive for file sharing and collaboration.
- Monitor and resolve performance issues related to Teams and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Client Interaction and Reporting:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding Microsoft 365 services, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides, knowledge base articles, and incident reports.
- Generate and review service reports, providing insights into system performance, user adoption, and security posture.
- Continuous Improvement and Updates:
- Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 updates, features, and best practices to continuously improve services.
- Participate in regular training and certifications to enhance technical knowledge and capabilities.
- Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge and improve internal processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (preferred).
- Experience:
- At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support.
- Strong experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Experience in Office 365 migrations, security management, and hybrid environments.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure Active Directory.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and other security tools within the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a client-facing, fast-paced environment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
