What you’ll Do:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fleet Innovation Coordinator to oversee the functionality and maintenance of our fleet telematics systems. This role is responsible for monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring accurate data collection. The individual will be tasked with analyzing telematics data to generate reports and provide recommendations aimed at improving fleet efficiency and resource allocation.
The Fleet Innovation Coordinator will also assist in invoicing duties, managing fleet invoicing processes, and ensuring accurate billing related to fleet operations. The position requires proficiency in allocating VMRS (Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards) codes, processing CAPEX invoices, and ensuring correct data entry. Additionally, this role will involve training and supporting fleet and field personnel on the effective use of telematics systems and related technologies.
As part of the responsibilities, the Coordinator will work closely with vendors to arrange for the shipping and installation of equipment for telematics system replacements or installations, while minimizing disruptions to fleet operations.
- Responsible for overseeing the proper functioning and maintenance of our fleet telematics systems
- Monitor the system's performance and address technical issues to ensure data collection is accurate and consistent
- Identify and address fleet-related issues and challenges, troubleshooting problems with telematics systems, and developing appropriate solutions
- Generate reports based on telematics data analysis and provide recommendations for improving fleet efficiency and optimizing resource allocation
- Assist with light invoicing duties to ensure accurate billing related to fleet operations
- Manage fleet invoicing processes, including allocating VMRS (Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards) codes, ensuring accurate entry of data, and addressing CAPEX invoices. Ensure invoices are properly coded and processed
- Play a key role in training and supporting fleet and field personnel on the effective use of telematics systems and related technologies
- Coordinate with vendors to arrange shipping and installation of equipment for the replacement or installation of telematics systems, managing timelines and minimizing disruption to fleet operations
- Other job duties as assigned
Requirements We Look For:
- 2+ years of experience in supporting telematics systems or similar technical support roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in training and supporting end-users.
- Knowledge of fleet management systems and practices is a plus.
- Experience with fleet invoicing processes, including VMRS coding, data entry, and CAPEX invoice management.
