*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Haul Driver to join our team. Please note that this is a non-CDL position, however, CDLs are welcome. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting mail for the United Postal Service starting and ending in Salida, CO.
*Responsibilities*
- Pick up USPS delivery loads in Salida, CO and transport to various cities along route.
- Load and unload mail safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of carts.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption as required by law.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations while on the road.
*Requirements*
- Valid drivers license (non CDL) with a clean driving record and background check.
- DOT drug test required.
- Ability to operate a 26' box truck.
- Driver experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- W2 or 1099 pay available.
