Milwaukee area manufacturer of RFID based security systems is seeking a full time software engineer. Applicant should possess 4 yr software development degree or equivalent.
Overview
- Experience with developing different projects, from simple applications, screen development, reports to windows services, database interfaces and serial/network communications. Experience with client/server architecture and full life-cycle development.
- Able to communicate with sales, management, customers, and dealers in order to get a better understanding of requirements based on the business. Develop documentation such as simple functional specifications and design documents.
- Able to prioritize work with an understanding of expectations. Making good decisions in designing and engineering programs/systems that can be delivered in a reasonable timeframe
- Experience in interfacing with various hardware (internally developed) using RS485 and possibly RS232
- Understanding of RF communications – development does not interface directly with RF, but the equipment does. Having an understanding helps when designing and developing code

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $119,421.00 - $129,274.00 per year
