Symantec DLP Tech Engineer- Contractor
Project Scope: Provide assistance with Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) v15 solution deployment, detection rule design, technology integration, and infrastructure/software upgrade.
Detailed job description:
- Assist client’s Database team with the installation and configuration of the Oracle database and Symantec DLP (v15) software install/upgrades and functional testing/validation, with priority given to client’s PCI environment.
- Assist client with deploying “out-of-the-box” DLP detection rules for PII and PCI data elements in monitoring mode initially.
- Obtain master list of all in‐scope corporate endpoints with deployed DLP agents and identify endpoints targeted for net-new installation.
- Generate, test, and prepare DLP v15 agent upgrade/installation package for distribution.
- Assist client with deploying the DLP v15 agent package for existing agent upgrades and net-new installations and verify agent registration in Enforce console.
- As needed, assist with installing new DLP detection servers (e.g., OCR, Watermarking)
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Travel may be up to 80-100%
