Jensen & Associates is a Private Wealth Advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial located in Chicago, IL. The practice has worked almost entirely remote for four years through the utilization of Microsoft Teams video conferencing software and currently works across time zones with multiple team members. Our success in working remotely allows for us to consider candidates who do not reside in Chicago as well. Candidates are however required to reside within the United States.
Job Responsibilities:
· Develop a working understanding of important topics in advice delivery such as retirement readiness, retirement paycheck design, goal tracking, workplace benefit reviews, insurance projections, savings strategies for goal achievement, among others.
· Assist advisors in preparing client meetings for clients as assigned. This includes meeting presentations as well as relevant materials such as reports, illustrations, brochures, new business paperwork, etc.
· Execute all tasks from client meetings such as trades and transactions. Ensure successful submission of new business paperwork, preparing and transmitting required documentation to Ameriprise’s corporate office, and coordinating retirement plan rollovers.
· Complete all follow up documentation from client meetings, including entering new data received into financial planning and client relationship management tools.
· Respond to ad-hoc client requests received or assigned.
· Assist clients with engaging with Ameriprise technology.
Qualified candidate must have or be able to demonstrate:

Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
· 3-5 years’ experience working within a team-based, client service environment.
· Extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
· FINRA licensing (or current pursuit of) not required but strongly preferred.

Pay and Benefits:
- Negotiable salary range of $58,000-$75,000 annually, based on our industry analysis and your experience.
Legal Requirements:
- Fingerprinting and background check is required for this position based on SEC Regulations
