Join University of Kentucky's Information Technology Services Enterprise Applications Team as an HR Systems Analyst! We're seeking a dynamic professional with a strong IT background, preferably in Information Technology or a related field, and an understanding of healthcare human resources. Your role will be pivotal in building, administering, supporting, and maintaining multiple HR systems, ensuring they align with our organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design & Administration: Design and administer HR systems tailored to organizational needs, ensuring smooth operation and user satisfaction.
- Application Configuration: Configure HR applications, including PeopleAdmin and PeopleReady, to meet evolving requirements, and serve as a liaison for contracted third-party products.
- HRIS Expertise: Lead the planning, design, configuration, and integration of our HRIS, demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills and significant experience in HRIS systems.
- User & Vendor Support: Act as an assertive advocate for HR department users, collaborating directly with third-party vendors like PeopleAdmin, PeopleReady, Equifax, Fieldglass, HireRight, and Acuity Scheduling, ensuring systems integration and user issues are promptly resolved.
- Product Testing & Upgrades: Pilot new system upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions by leveraging your experience in testing, configuration, and understanding of HR system interfaces. Coordinate testing and issue resolution with third-party vendors before rollout to ensure a smooth implementation.
- Contract Interpretation & Vendor Liaison: Read and interpret contracts, providing support as a liaison to third-party vendors, ensuring our HR systems align with contractual obligations.
- Talent Acquisition Software: Install and support talent acquisition software, contributing to UK HealthCare’s mission and growth.
- HR Employee Education & Training: Serve as an HR employee educator by training HR staff on using third-party vendor programs, ensuring they are comfortable and proficient in their roles.
- Consulting & Improvement: Collaborate with vendor programmers on system improvements, providing insights without needing to be a programmer yourself. A solid IT foundation with business analyst experience is beneficial.
Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Information Technology or a related field required; MS preferred.
- Experience: 6 years of HRIS experience required, with experience in SAP and other HR systems integration preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Office 365, and strong understanding of HR system user interfaces.
- Comprehensive HR Systems Knowledge: Possess extensive technical expertise across various HR systems, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
· Shift: Primarily days (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm). Additional hours may be required to meet goals.
