What we’re looking for
We are looking for a strong leader for a Business Architect role. The Business Architect will play a critical role in aligning IT capabilities with business strategies, goals and objectives ensuring that our enterprise architecture supports and enhances our business goals. This role requires a deep understanding and expertise in key business architecture concepts and deliverables such as organization models, strategy and value models, business capabilities, capability maturity, value streams, and providing actionable insights through mapping of various business architecture artifacts. The candidate must have expert knowledge and experience working with and contextualizing multiple EA and BA frameworks and enterprise architecture (EA) tools .
What you’ll be doing
- Strategic Alignment: Work closely with senior leadership to align business strategies with IT initiatives. Ensure that enterprise architecture supports business goals and drives value.
- Business Capability Management: Identify, define, and manage business capabilities to support strategic objectives. Assess and enhance capability maturity levels across the organization.
- Value Stream Mapping: Develop and maintain value stream maps to visualize and optimize end-to-end business processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Enterprise Architecture Tools and Frameworks: Utilize EA tools and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate) to develop and maintain architectural artifacts. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, provide architectural guidance, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain business architecture roadmaps to guide the evolution of business capabilities and IT systems. Ensure that roadmaps are aligned with business priorities.
- Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business capabilities and value streams. Provide regular reports to senior leadership.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices in business architecture and enterprise architecture.
Requirements:
Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills
- Minimum 8+ years of Business architecture experience.
- Executive presence and good communication / articulation.
- Have good understanding of technology landscape and depth.
- Local candidate is a must.
Added bonus if you have (Preferred):
- Knowledge and experience with Application Portfolio Management (APM), Technology Portfolio Management (TPM)
- Financial services experience
- Experience with LeanIX tool Have technical depth in any of the following domains : Payments/Billing/Treasury , Insurance products-Vehicle Protection products, Consumer Lending, Multi-tenant platforms, Accounting/Tax/Finance & Risk/Compliance
- TOGAF or BizBOK certification
