Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, i.e. power distribution, motor controls, PLC's, VFD's, and general building power equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Collaborate with other team members to complete daily tasks
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working with electrical systems
Skills:
- Proficient in using hand tools and specialized equipment for electrical work
- Strong knowledge of industrial site electrical practices and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Experience working with medium to low voltage (24VDC - 480VAC)
- Experience working in industrial plant manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of electrical principles and codes
- Ability to build and install electrical components according to specifications
