Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete electrical tasks efficiently.
- Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing tasks on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and logic controllers is preferred.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and electrical testing equipment (voltmeters, ohmmeters).
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification is required.
