What does a successful Enterprise Architect (m/w/d) do at Fiserv?

What you will do:
- Assess the current IT landscape and architecture, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for innovation
- Develop and maintain the architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with the business goals and enterprise strategy
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of architecture artifacts
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on the organisation’s architecture and making recommendations for adoption
- Work with engineering teams to develop prototypes and proof of concept applications to prove new architectures and technologies
- Collaborate with global teams to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, ideally in the financial services industry
- Demonstrated success in identifying opportunities and delivering transformation projects through the effective application of enterprise architecture principles
- In-depth understanding and hands on experience with cloud computing, microservices, APIs, messaging and modern architecture patterns
- Experience with enterprise-wide integration, including both on-premises and cloud-based systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into architectural designs
- Leadership and mentoring skills to guide development teams in architectural best practices
