What does a successful Physical Security - Sr Advisor I do?
The Global Security and Investigations (GSI) unit within Fiserv has overall responsibility for ensuring the safety and security of all Fiserv assets, employees, or operations in the U.S. and overseas. Key program areas that fall under GSI include Executive Travel & Protection, Investigation & Operations, Intelligence & Threat Analysis, Health & Safety, Personnel Screening & Compliance, and Physical Security. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical protection of sensitive or confidential information, personnel, facilities, installations, and other sensitive materials, resources, or processes at Fiserv.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement physical protection systems to safeguard sensitive information, personnel, and facilities.
- Oversee security installations, maintenance of security systems, and the selection of equipment and suppliers related to security.
- Manage projects and processes which are efficient and reliable, ensuring the safety and security of all personnel, resources and assets of Fiserv.
- Conduct evaluations of security practices and recommend necessary control measures.
- Manage internal and external audits to assure that organizational personnel are adhering to established policy and practices and recommend appropriate action to correct deficiencies.
- Ensure that monitoring of physical security logs for facility access systems are performed in a manner consistent of regulatory requirements.
- Assist where needed to coordinate Regulatory, PCI, Client and Internal Audit examinations with each business unit validating that required physical security information is available and timely.
- Manage on-site security personnel at multiple locations, including contract security services.
What you will need to have:
- 7 + years of law enforcement experience demonstrating expertise in maintaining security, enforcing regulations, and possessing strong operational and risk assessment skills.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or military experience.
