Job Title: Data Center Technician

Salary: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Technician who is willing to travel to various job sites to install, maintain, and troubleshoot data and network systems. This position involves structured cabling, fiber optics, and IT infrastructure work in different locations. If you enjoy working with technology, problem-solving, and are open to traveling, we’d love to have you on our team!
Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and maintain structured cabling, fiber optics, and network hardware
- Installation of servers, switches and routers
- Perform cable terminations (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, etc.) and labeling
- Work independently or as part of a team on various projects
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Qualifications:
- Entry-Level Candidates:
- No experience required—on-the-job training provided
- Basic understanding of networking and cabling is a plus
- Strong willingness to learn and work with technology
Experienced Candidates:*
* 1+ years of experience in data cabling, IT networking, or low-voltage systems
* Knowledge of structured cabling standards and best practices
*Ability to troubleshoot and install network
General Requirements:
✔Must be willing and able to travel frequently
✔Work permit/Green Card
✔Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
✔Have a valid driver’s license and
✔Able to stand for long hours
