Who You Are
You are a skilled Salesforce Administrator with at least 3 years of experience managing and optimizing Salesforce environments, ideally with expertise in the Financial Services Cloud. You have a strong background in designing and implementing automation solutions and workflows and are adept at configuring Salesforce to meet dynamic business needs. With a proven ability to quickly adapt and prioritize in fast-paced environments, you excel at problem-solving and collaborating across teams. You bring a deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, data integrity, and security, and are committed to continuous learning to stay up to date with platform developments.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Platform Management: Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), ensuring its optimal performance, security, and availability.
User Access and Security: Manage system access by onboarding new users, configuring profiles and permissions, and ensuring proper access levels are maintained. Regularly review and update access for departing team members and role changes.
Customization and Configuration: Configure Salesforce objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflows, and validation rules to align with business requirements.
Automation and Workflow Design: Familiarity with Salesforce tools like OmniStudio and Flows to create guided workflows, automate business processes, and streamline operations. (Note: These tools are not currently in use but may be implemented in the future.)
Integration and App Management: Set up, configure, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems while managing third-party managed packages from the Salesforce AppExchange to enhance functionality.
AI Integration and Support: Collaborate with teams to configure and support the integration of custom local LLM and AI platforms within Salesforce, enabling advanced insights, automation, and decision-making capabilities tailored to business needs. Provide training and ensure seamless adoption of these AI-enhanced features across the organization.
Adaptability and Focus: Operate with a self-guided and motivated approach, quickly pivoting priorities to address the most critical tasks of the day, such as resolving high-priority user issues or addressing newly identified defects in the system.
Communication and Collaboration: Translate technical solutions into clear, concise explanations for non-technical stakeholders, including the aligned Product Manager, ensuring alignment on goals and expectations. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure effective collaboration.
Data Management: Perform data imports, exports, cleansing, and deduplication while maintaining data integrity and compliance with security standards.
Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security protocols, and relevant data protection regulations.
What Makes You a Perfect Fit
Salesforce Expertise: At least 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role, with hands-on expertise in configuring and managing Salesforce environments. This includes advanced knowledge of Salesforce features such as custom objects, workflows, validation rules, Flows, and reports/dashboards.
Certifications: Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) is required. Advanced certifications such as Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM 211), Salesforce Platform App Builder, or other relevant credentials are highly preferred. Certifications in specialized tools like OmniStudio are advantageous but not mandatory.
Technical Skills: Candidates must demonstrate expertise in Salesforce automation tools, including Flows, Process Builder, and approval processes, along with experience in implementing integrations using APIs and middleware. Proficiency in data management, including imports, exports, cleansing, deduplication, and maintaining data integrity, is essential. A strong understanding of Salesforce security best practices, such as managing roles, profiles, and field-level security, is also required.
Problem-Solving and Adaptability: The role requires the ability to troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce and related system issues effectively. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment and capable of prioritizing and pivoting quickly to address high-impact business needs.
Business Acumen: This role requires collaboration with stakeholders across departments to understand business processes and translate them into Salesforce solutions that align with organizational goals. The ability to configure Salesforce to support business strategies and KPIs is critical.
Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills are essential for translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for non-technical stakeholders, including Product Managers and executives. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, fostering alignment and collaboration.
Training and User Support: Experience in training end users, creating documentation and user guides, and providing ongoing support to ensure effective adoption and use of Salesforce is required.
Tools and Technologies: Proficiency in Salesforce utilities such as Data Loader and Workbench, along with expertise in building reports and dashboards using CRM Analytics, is essential. Familiarity with third-party analytics platforms like Tableau or Power BI and AppExchange solutions is a plus.
Ongoing Learning and Development: Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to staying current with Salesforce updates, features, and best practices through continuous learning using resources such as Trailhead and Salesforce communities.
Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile development environment, with familiarity using tools like JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
Salary: $110,000 – 140,000
