Atlanta Bookshelves is looking for a qualified installer to bring on as a team member in our growing, well-equipped cabinetry shop in Jonesboro, Georgia. Each project is completely unique, and our work is always challenging and interesting. We manufacture custom built-in bookshelves, Murphy beds, entertainment centers, closets, mudroom seating and storage for the high-end housing market.
We would like for you to have your own helper (but not a requirement) available and your own tools.
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Has the ability to find a solution to problems that may arise during the installation process at the customer's home.
- Install any numerous components for bookshelves, closets, mudrooms, shelves, and other customized projects for customer. This may involve repairing sheetrock, painting, running electrical and LED lights, and other various jobs.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all interactions with clients and maintain excellent service through completion.
- Continuously monitor your progress to optimize the efficiency of your day and installations. Provide updates on the project's installation progress to the project manager.
- Maintain your tools and work environment in a safe and clean way minimizing disturbance to other areas and respect the environment you will be working in as if they are your own.
- Ability to read shop drawings and on-site dimensions to foresee any potential issues and correct them before production begins.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Work directly with the shop manager to answer questions concerning each build.
- Work well with managers and team members to promote a team environment.
- Must be detail-oriented and well-organized.

Requirements:
- Applicants must have at least a High school diploma or equivalent
- Applicants must have at least 3-5 years experience in Cabinet Installation in a cabinet shop setting. Do not apply if you do not have formal employment as a Cabinet Installer.
- A criminal background check will be required on applicants
- Valid Driver's License
