We work one on one with new Driver's to ensure their success
All Drivers must be able to pass a 3rd-party background check
Have at least 3 years of work history
A minimum of 21 years of age
Pass a urine test and DOT physical **paid by FedEx**
Complete a Safety Course - approximately 2 hours *unpaid*
Capability to lift up to 150 lbs.
Ability to work out-of-State within 1 week of hire. **pay is increased, per diem, and lodging provided**
Proficient in communication, efficiency and multi-tasking
Responsibilities:
***Ability to work a 6 or 7 day work week
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods from the warehouse to various locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while at the warehouse or driving
- Communicate with dispatch or supervisors regarding any issues or delays
- Ability to communicate and work successfully in a Team Environment
Skills:
* Ability to perform and overcome obstacles during times of high stress*
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to accurately verify delivery orders
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Good communication and customer service skills
