Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in various environments. The HVAC Installer will ensure that all systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Install HVAC/R systems according to specifications and local codes.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Utilize an Ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical components of HVAC systems.
- Perform appliance repair tasks as needed, focusing on both residential and commercial properties.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Collaborate with field service teams to address customer needs promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in various environments, including ammonia refrigeration systems.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems.
- Proficiency in property maintenance tasks related to heating and cooling systems.
- Experience with refrigerate processes and equipment handling.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in field service settings.
- Familiarity with boiler systems and their maintenance requirements is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
