Otterbein Senior Life has an opening for a fulltime, salaried IT Generalist. This position is located at Otterbein SeniorLife in Franklin, Indiana. The candidate will perform general maintenance and end user support tasks as well as analyze, troubleshoot and repair computer systems, hardware & peripheral equipment, both remotely and on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on & remote controlled workstation support services
- Repair, rebuild & replace desktop & laptop systems
- Documentation – Inventory, Helpdesk, Hardware & Software
- Provide Helpdesk and after hours support on a rotating basis with other team members
- Record and close tickets in the Helpdesk database
Qualifications:
- BS Degree with an I/T or business related major or equivalent work experience
- Customer Service
- A+ certification (additional IT related certification is a plus)
- Proficient with MS Office Suite of products
- Knowledge & working experience with Active Directory
- Knowledge & working experience with Desktop Windows O/S
- Knowledge of network cabling
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, organized and detail-oriented
