Founded in 2004, we offer over 1,100 industrial packaging products to nearly 900 locations nationwide. Based near Dallas, Texas, we specialize in tailored packaging solutions for a diverse range of customers. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team and cover the Houston, TX market and greater Gulf Coast. This role is crucial for driving business growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with clients in various industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in direct sales, business development, and technical sales, with a focus on B2B interactions. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and increase market share.
- Conduct cold calling to generate new leads and establish connections with potential clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
- Analyze client requirements and present appropriate software solutions that align with their business goals.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients through regular follow-ups and exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to optimize lead generation efforts and enhance overall sales performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, forecasts, and market analysis to inform management decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong background in direct sales or technology sales is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other tools for managing customer relationships.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering results.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
