Job Title: Director of Operations & Admissions
Reports to: Executive Director
Position Overview
This Director of Operations and Admissions (DOO/A) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all services of Virtue Recovery Center. Additionally, this person is primarily responsible for the processes related to the pre-admission, intake, and admission of new clients. The DOA will assist with implementing program changes, assisting in hiring new employees, and administrative duties, while focusing on promoting positive team dynamics and clinical excellence. Most importantly they will ensure clients are receiving quality services. The Director of Operations and Admissions reports directly to the Executive Director.
Job Functions
- Participate in updating and creating policies and procedures under the direction of the Executive Director.
- Directly oversees subordinate staff, including the BHT Supervisor.
- Will be available to perform 24-hour on-call oversight and direct client care.
- Oversees admissions/intake procedures are met for new clients, including room assignments and proper client discharge procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the privacy and security of PHI policies and procedures.
- Serves as the primary administrator on call for all operations outside business hours.
- Prepare and facilitate individual meetings with staff as needed.
- Will serve as the compliance officer to ensure all KIPU demographic data are without errors.
- Ensure all operational policies and procedures are current and accessible to staff.
- Contribute to the company's growth through brainstorming, planning, and implementation.
- Will be available as needed to collect new clients from the airport and provide intake.
- Work with the Chief Compliance Officer to maintain Joint Commission Accreditation.
- Build positive team dynamics.
- Ensure checks and balances and auditing occur in all departments to guarantee policies and procedures are followed.
- Promote effective communication with clients, staff, and other professionals.
- Provides and schedules in-service training as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of Joint Commission assessments to maintain accreditation.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Executive Director.
Qualifications
- A college Degree,
- 1-3 years of experience in business operations and/or administration.
- Experience leading teams of employees.
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team.
- Ability to implement effective organizational systems in order to complete tasks, projects, and to meet deadlines Able to anticipate issues that can affect successful outcomes and approach challenges with creative solutions that help teams meet objectives.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and analyze policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Electronic Health Records; Internet software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

- Must be capable of lifting up to 20 pounds.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
