KBR is seeking a Configuration Manager to join our team in San Diego, CA. This position can be performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Configuration Manager within the Department of Defense (DoD), specifically U.S. Space Force/Space Systems Command (SSC)/CGN (Narrowband SATCOM Acquisition Delta), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and traceability of all configuration items (CIs) throughout their lifecycle. This includes overseeing the tracking, identification, and control of CIs, maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards, and managing the organization's documents management system.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Oversee the tracking, identification, and control of configuration items throughout their lifecycle.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Manage and oversee the documents management system
- Define and document configuration management requirements, ensuring accurate and up-to-date configuration data.
- Facilitate and coordinating the organization’s Configuration Control Boards (CCBs). This includes scheduling CCBs, preparing packages, routing, tracking, and drafting of meeting notes.
- Maintain and enforce the Configuration Management Plan and Quality Control Plan.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in an Information Security or related role preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work with personnel across multiple disciplines of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current Secret Security Clearance
Compensation for California: Starting salary ranges from $95,000 to $115,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
