Job Summary Details: The Stadium Compactor Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining compacting equipment to manage waste and recyclable materials efficiently within the stadium. This role is crucial in ensuring a clean and environmentally friendly environment for all stadium events.
Pay: $18.60 an hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate compactors and other related equipment to compress waste and recyclable materials generated during stadium events.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on compacting equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries within the stadium.
- Load and unload materials into the compactor, ensuring proper placement and distribution.
- Monitor the compaction process to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness during events.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the stadium facilities supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around the compactor, especially during high-traffic events.
- Assist with other waste management tasks as needed, including sorting and transporting materials within the stadium.
- Adhere to environmental regulations and stadium policies regarding waste disposal and recycling.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment commonly found in a stadium setting.
- Capability to work in various weather conditions and environments, including during outdoor events.
- Stamina to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods, especially during long events.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for stadium events.
This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
