Work Arrangement:
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM’s Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan or The Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan Center three times per week, at minimum

The Leadership Development Facilitator is responsible for delivering programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of our current and future leaders at all levels of the organization from supervisor to executive level. They will be responsible for facilitating group coaching and live and online classroom sessions, effectively engaging learners and managing group dynamics to ensure comprehension, retention, and mastery of leadership skills. This role will work closely with various cross-functional stakeholders to align training programs with organizational goals and strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver leadership development programs using a variety of methods, including instructor-led, virtual instructor-led training, eLearning, and blended learning approaches.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions that promote active learning and skill development.
- Adapt training and delivery methods to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Conduct group facilitation and group coaching to address skill gaps.
- Conduct team effectiveness sessions for intact teams to foster high team performance.
- Serve as an enterprise-wide subject matter expert in Leadership Development and Team Effectiveness.
- Manage the learning environment, including classroom setup, systems setup, course materials, media, and online learning platforms.
- Track daily attendance and process rosters to the Learning Management System (LMS) through Event MC.
- Coach classroom behaviors to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Support sustained learning cohorts and materials as needed.
- Collaborate with Learning Coordinators to schedule and optimize attendance.
- Partner with Learning Design and Development and Leadership Development teams in content creation, selection, curation, and revision processes.
- Continuously improve facilitation approach based on evaluation results and emerging best practices.
