Top South Inc. is seeking a carpenter and/or candidates that can fabricate and install cabinets, custom closet systems, garage organizers, pantries, and home offices for residential and commercial clients.
We offer Top Pay and Signing Bonus for the candidate with closet installation experience and a proven track record and portfolio of work.
Qualifications:
1. Valid Ga Drivers License with good driving record and reliable transportation to and from work.
2. Ability to operate company vehicle in a safe manner while maintaining it and keeping it clean.
3. Must be able to pass criminal background check, drug screening and meet other general hiring criteria.
4. Experience with frameless cabinets and 32MM system a plus.
5. Experience with all types of shop machinery and power tools a plus.
6. Possess general construction knowledge and be able to operate all types of power tools.
7. Experience with minor sheetrock repair.
8.Experience installing custom melamine closet systems.
Personal Skills
1. You must be able to communicate fluently with customers.
2. Have physical strength and stamina that allows you to walk and stand for long periods of time.
3. Ability to lift 50 or more pounds several times during your shift.
4. Possess good math skills and be able to read a tape measure accurately.
5. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
6. Must be hardworking, dependable, and be able to take instructions and follow directions.
7. Must be able to work independently in the field.
8. Must observe good habits of grooming and personal hygiene.
Job description:
Option #1 -As a fabricator/installer, you will split time between the shop and the field, while installations being your primary focus. While in the shop, you will assist in all aspects of cabinet/closet production. While in the field, you will be responsible for safely getting the product to the job site in a timely manner. You will communicate with the customers and exhibit the highest level of care for their home. You will install the job efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality.
Option #2 -Installation only. We are offering $25-$40 per hr OR straight commission. We provide truck and supply all tools.
