Compensation: $53,612 – $70,512 annually
CH2M HILL BWXT West Valley, LLC (CHBWV) is the prime contractor selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to manage the Phase 1 – Facility Disposition Project at the West Valley Demonstration Project. The site is a scenic 30-minute drive south of Buffalo, New York. In cooperation with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, CHBWV continues to decontaminate and decommission facilities at this site.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Property Control Coordinator II provides support to the development, oversight, and implementation of site-wide property management and inventory control programs to control and manage government owned assets by performing physical inventories, walkdown of locations to ensure accuracy and document findings in database. The Property Control Coordinator II will assist in the identification and processing of government property no longer needed, via all proper site paperwork and placement on DOE required disposal forums.
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
Licenses/Certifications:

- Experience in equipment operations fork truck stacker
- Fluent in Microsoft suit, excel, word, outlook, must poses strong computer skills and be able to follow direction and work independently

- Personal Protective Clothing
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Computer skills including intermediate level skills in database management, Intermediate level computer proficiency and technical aptitude in a Microsoft Windows environment including Word and Excel.
- Works under minimal supervision for all but new or unusual assignments.
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to interface with individuals or groups from inside and outside the organization.
- Must possess recordkeeping skills to maintain the property records required by the regulations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/SCOPE OF WORK
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following established safe work practices and procedures; investigating and reporting identified safety concerns or situations.
- Adhere to standards contained in the Company “Code of Conduct,” Company EEO practices, and DOE directives.
- Conduct routine physical inventories of government tagged property which includes sensitive items, controlled storage, equipment, high risk items, warehouse stock items, and precious metals.
- Assists in the Implementation of site-wide programs for inventory management of real and personal property, including precious metals.
- Develop knowledge of all applicable Federal Property Management Regulations (FPMR) and other property management requirements, as required.
- Support the Facilities Information Management System (FIMS) with all functions supporting annual validation requirements.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of assets, including acquisitions, transfers, dispositions, etc.
- Interact and coordinate with federal, state, and local government agencies and municipalities, schools, universities, donees, the public etc., regarding the transfer of excess government property.
- Assist in the coordination activities associated with the High Risk/Export Controlled Information bi-annual meetings.
- Assist in the training of site personnel to increase their knowledge of property regulations/requirements.
- Conducts and assists with routine evaluations and assessments, including physical inventories, with management to provide asset control and accountability.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
