Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes, Inventory Management and ensuring the timely delivery of products. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company's overall supply chain and logistics operations in order to maximize efficiencies and productivity
- Procure materials and services while negotiating favorable terms with suppliers.
- Placing production orders for finished goods based required needs .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fabricate products that meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Prepare cash needs monthly
- Planning and Inventory manangment for all FG, Raw and Packaging items
- Conduct root cause analysis to address supply chain issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess.
- Leverage SQL for data management and analysis to support supply chain initiatives.
- Collaborate with, sales/marketing, and the new product development team to develop new product forecasts and adhere to launch schedules – While capturing all the cash needs for R&D and launch .
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to foster collaboration and innovation.
- Drive appropriate levels of inventory through utilization of supply chain planning parameters such as production frequency, lead times, capacity, safety stock, and related planning horizons – good stewards of cash and inventory
- Direct ownership of DEAR (CIN7) Systems ERP inventory system to maintain inventory, orders, PO’s, etc.
- Responsible for generating KPI’s and business performance reports (e.g. WOS, on-time delivery, fill rate) that highlight relevant business trends pertaining to key operational functions
- Ensure team meets new product timeline launches
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management or a related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as Excel, DEAR(CIN7) Click up.
- Previous startup experience strongly desired
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.
- Outstanding quantitative skills, including experience with statistical forecast management
