Senior Civil DesignerWould you like to work on some of Australia’s major Civil infrastructure projects?
Our Perth operations are looking for a Senior Civil Designer to join KBR’s Digital Delivery Civil Team, who are specialists in Transport, Maritime, Water, Defence, and Energy sectors. Play a key role in delivering a variety of transport and defence infrastructure projects.
Reporting to the Civil Team Leader, you’ll thrive in a collaborative, innovative environment that fosters a supportive and engaging work culture.
You will be responsible for completing civil design and drafting using various software design packages and AutoCAD when required. You will also be confident liaising with a variety of stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and junior staff. You will offer support and guidance to junior staff and take on a lead role when required.
Your responsibilities will include:
Completing civil design and drafting using various design software such as 12D and AutoCAD as needed.
Liaising confidently with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and junior staff.
Supporting and mentoring junior team members and stepping into a leadership role when required.
What you will need to succeed:
As an individual, you are excited by the prospect of delivering iconic projects to the community, and you will have a proven background in major civil infrastructure projects.
Key qualifications and skills include:
Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant qualification.
High standard of competency in 12D, Bentley Rail and AutoCAD, and some exposure to OpenRoads.
Developed design experience, including knowledge and experience of rail and road design standards.
Demonstrate an appropriate balance of practicality and innovation in your work.
Solid industry experience in a design environment.
