What does a successful Incident Manager do?
The AIBMS Incident Manager is a business-critical role responsible for 1st Line of Defence (1FLOD) Incident Management. This role (in conjunction with the On Call team) are responsible for managing and resolving unexpected incidents that can disrupt normal service operations. This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role (CF2) under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations.
What you will do:
- 1LOD responsibility for managing Incidents and Lessons Learnt within Regulatory timelines (Operational Resilience & DORA).
- Work with 2LOD in respect to reportable incidents.
- Support audit requests when required.
- Management of all P-Task activities derived from RCA’s.
- Ensure all Incident related risks are tracked and maintained in CalQRisk ensuring all required controls are actioned in a timely manner.
- Management and active member of the 24*7*365 on Call Team.
- Work in conjunction with Cyber, ICT and Outsourcing Functions to ensure compliance with Operational and Digital Resilience.
What you will need to have:
- Degree (e.g. business administration, economics, business law, law or comparable).
- Five plus years of professional work experience in comparable positions/ IT Service Management.
- Expertise in the field of regulation of financial services companies.
- Communication and influencing skills, and assertiveness.
- Analytical, commercial and results driven
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- The ability to work across all areas of the business a strong business acumen is a must.
- This role is within the Core Operations Team and requires flexibility
- This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role (CF2) under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations. Commitment to adhere to the IAF Conduct Standards is a requirement for this role.
