Leidos Space Systems Division is seeking an Manufacturing Resource Planner to join our team in Decatur, AL. This position will support manufacturing of electrical and mechanical components.

Primary Responsibilities
Organize and manage the resources needed for production, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to meet production goals.
Specific examples include:
- Cycle counting
- Shipping and receiving
- Stock/track of components
- Fulfill requests for materials
- Perform inventory actions using corporate accounting software
- In coordination with larger production team, develop daily work plans
- Coordinate and release Manufacturing Orders
- Assemble kits for manufacturing, delivery and pickup of material
- Component Shelf Life Tracking and Metrology Tracking
- Support materials audits, material handling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Candidate must be able to demonstrate strong personal organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
Basic Qualifications
- Must have a High School diploma/GED with at least one year of relevant inventory control experience.
- Must have experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Ability to work with department leadership to contribute to strategic planning and long-term vision for the team.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to work both independently and in a cohesive team environment.
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deltek CostPoint.
- Implementation of tracking system for parts that are temporarily located at internal or external assembly locations.
- Forklift Experience or ability to become Forklift Certified
- Ability to maintain workplace cleanliness with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
