The successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Tech Center on a full-time basis.
This role requires up to 50% domestic and international travel.

WHY : The purpose of this role is to inspire customer confidence and satisfaction in every vehicle by assuring software and electrical functionality to meet on time deliveries for our customers.

WHAT : As an EGM for Manufacturing Software Reflash, you will lead vehicle software reflash and repair activities at various GM sites and offsite locations.

HOW : Tirelessly supporting the plants to make it happen for our customers.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

Lead a team of highly technical salary employees and manage a large number of 3rd party resources to perform vehicle software updates and electrical repair activities.

Manage and prioritize the support coverage schedule for all ongoing and future projects.

Utilize the lessons learned from these activities to feed back to owners to drive improvement in E-FTQ (electrical first-time quality) and customer warranty impact.

Continue to drive process improvements to increase throughput and quality in all reflash and repair activities.

Support all GM manufacturing sites on achieving and exceeding their Electrical First Time Quality targets.

Foster a forward-thinking work culture that embraces change and navigates future organizational and industry challenges.

Build and nurture strategic relationships across various functions including software, manufacturing, and program management to synergize efforts towards future innovations.

Support vehicle-level software reflash in shipping and plant yards.

Lead all part build shy initiatives.

Oversee plant electrical repair support activities.
