Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Trainer - Structural Maintenance (Level 3) to support the C-130 production line in Marietta, GA. In this role, you will play a vital part in mentoring mechanics, ensuring the highest standards of assembly quality, precision, and compliance with Lockheed Martin specifications. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Training & Mentorship – Provide hands-on training in hole drilling, fastener installation, plumbing techniques, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Coaching & Feedback – Offer constructive feedback to mechanics, guiding them in skill development and process adherence.
• Quality & Compliance Oversight – Ensure work meets Marietta Process Specifications (MPS), engineering standards, and inspection protocols.
• Production Support – Monitor and report progress, challenges, and areas impacting quantity and quality to supervisors.
• Safety & Standards – Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.

Who You Are
• Experienced & Knowledgeable – You have direct experience on the C-130 production line at Lockheed Martin Marietta, GA.
• Trainer & Mentor – You are skilled at teaching, coaching, and guiding mechanics, ensuring precision and compliance.
• Detail-Oriented & Analytical – You have a deep understanding of MPS, engineering specs, and quality standards.
• Process-Driven & Collaborative – You work well with teams, supervisors, and trainees, driving continuous improvement in assembly techniques.
• Committed to Excellence – You are passionate about delivering high-quality work, maintaining compliance, and ensuring safety.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in training or teaching roles.
• Prior experience working on the C-130 production line at Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA.
• Strong knowledge of Marietta Process Specification (MPS), Engineering Specifications and inspection practices.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with SFM, QADS, DIMS, and EDW parts warehouse systems.
• Familiar with sheet metal fabrication
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated coaching tendencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled in demonstrating and facilitating training in shop environments.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to provide hands-on skill demonstrations for C-130 accessory and assembly installations.
• Experience reviewing work for consistency, correctness, and quality standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Continuous mental and visual attention required to provide training and skill demonstrations for the installation, assembly and/or fabrication of C-130 accessories and assemblies. Check work of employees

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
