Supply Chain Intern
Are you ready to dive into the world of supply chain management and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment? As a Supply Chain Intern at KBR in Huntsville, AL, you'll work alongside experienced professionals and play an active role in supporting our supply chain operations. This is a unique opportunity to develop skills in key areas like procurement, market research, subcontract management, program support, and compliance with government regulations.

What You’ll Do:
- Assist the supply chain team in managing daily operations, including subcontracts, procurement, market research, and program support.
- Gain exposure to key systems such as Cognos, Costpoint, and Human Resources software.
- Learn about Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and their supplements, gaining an understanding of government-specific supply chain and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to team initiatives in areas like Government Property Accountability, Sustainability, Cybersecurity Awareness, and File Closeout.
- Review and familiarize yourself with important policies, procedures, and forms that guide supply chain processes.
- Receive training and mentorship from experienced supply chain professionals who are dedicated to helping you succeed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled/pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited US college. Preference is Junior status/standing.
- Must be above the age of 18.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Field of study that encompasses supply chain, finance, and contracts/acquisition
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail, good communication, and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work with a dispersed Team of Professionals
2025 Summer Internship
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week. Monday-Friday.
Compensation: $23/HR
