Description:You will be the Shipping/Receiving Inspector for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of shipments and receipts, verifying compliance with company and customer standards.
What You Will Be Doing As the Shipping/Receiving Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and audits of materials, equipment, and hardware to ensure accuracy and quality. You will work closely with various departments to achieve product schedules and budget targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Performing receiving and shipping inspections for identification, condition, and quantity
-Conducting inspections and audits of materials, equipment, and hardware
-Verifying compliance with inspection instructions, drawings, and specifications
-Routing items for specialized inspections and tests
-Maintaining inspection equipment and records
-Collaborating with departments to achieve product schedules and budget targets
-Operating lifting and loading equipment as needed
-Handling explosives and hazardous materials (as required)

Basic Qualifications:-Basic knowledge of material handling methods and
receiving practices and procedures together with the use of arithmetic to receive a variety of items.
-Ability to utilize arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and its application to the reading of blueprints.
-Knowledge of inspection procedures and methods required to inspect a variety of parts.
-High school degree or equivalent is required.
-Must have ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
-Must have the ability to work 1st or 2nd shift according to the collective bargaining agreement.
-Must have the ability to work overtime as required.
Desired Skills:-Knowledge of the DD25O and RFS procedures. Familiarity with SAP and Apriso.
-Demonstrate the ability to perform general and periodic
surveillance inspections of warehousing, shipping, and
associated storage areas.
-Ability to use a fork lift.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
