The Sr. Program Manager, Tech Delivery (Compliance & Data Governance) will oversee the successful delivery of enterprise-level programs and projects focused on ensuring compliance for NBCUniversal’s Global Streaming portfolio. The position demands strong communication skills, the ability to influence stakeholders, and expertise in program management. A successful candidate will be adept in understanding technology principles, agile delivery, and building strong relationships with business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Delivery:
- Lead cross-functional workstreams to ensure alignment with business objectives, effective stakeholder communication, and successful delivery.
- Drive technology deliverables across product, business, and developer teams, ensuring both business and technical goals are met.
- Implement governance structures to provide clear and actionable updates on program status to leadership, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Oversee the timely execution of deliverables while maintaining alignment with scope, budget, and business expectations.
- Collaborate with PMO teams to ensure consistent scoping, cost-benefit analysis, and level-of-effort assessments.
- Oversee change control processes, ensuring PMO standards are followed and mitigating risks to maintain delivery timelines.
Risk & Compliance Management:
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation plans and escalation processes as needed.
- Develop plans to reduce risks related to compliance with privacy standards such as GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, and VPPA.
- Lead compliance audits, identifying gaps and driving improvements to maintain regulatory alignment.
Privacy & Data Governance:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for privacy compliance issues, deploying privacy mechanisms across the platform.
- Manage privacy impact assessments and coordinate data lifecycle management, including securing and purging consumer data as required by privacy laws.
- Guide stakeholders on evolving data privacy regulations and ensure company-wide compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Build relationships with compliance stakeholders, business units, and technology teams to align privacy requirements with business goals.
- Lead training and awareness programs to ensure all stakeholders are informed and equipped to handle privacy responsibilities.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 6+ years of leading complex technology delivery projects within regulatory compliance frameworks, particularly data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- 5+ years of technical experience with data & analytics platforms, ideally with exposure to real-time data environments.
- 3+ years of experience implementing Data Privacy and Governance best practices, policies, and procedures.
Skills:
- Proficiency in program management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Agile).
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
- Proven leadership skills that drive collaboration and results in a matrixed organization.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and risk mitigation.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field. Graduate work in Law, Privacy, or Regulatory Policy is a plus.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for Data Protection, Data Retention, and Governance.
- Experience working in a media, streaming, or telecommunications environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.

Salary range: $135,000 - $165,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible).
