Description:What You Will Be Doing You will be the Data Governance Staff supporting the implementation of the Data Governance program across multiple lines of business, programs, and functions for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics business area with a focus on integration with the 1LMX program and tools. Responsibilities will include leading subject matter experts through data governance activities like certification of data sets and reports/dashboards, development and use of the knowledge catalog, definition of access control requirements, and development of data models, business terms, and business data quality rules. This position supports the data governance framework through facilitation of the Data Governance Council at Aeronautics, multiple Aeronautics data stewardship committees, and representing Aeronautics at the Corporate Data Analytics Office workshops, boards, and meetings. It also supports the definition, planning, and execution of the data governance and master data management projects.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, equivalent experience/combined education considered
• Experience working with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Desired Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and organization skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously
• Desire for continuous learning and sharing of knowledge
• Certification or experience as a member of SAFe Agile Scrum and/or Kanban teams
• Familiarity with business processes and tools to create and maintain product data throughout the Engineering Design to Product Sustainment lifecycle
• Experience in a data catalog administrative role
• Familiarity with metadata management and open data standards such as OAGIS, Dublin Core, etc.
• Experience working within data governance, data stewardship or master data management competencies or role
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, and interfacing with internal and external customers
• Knowledge of industry-standards and regulatory requirements related to data and information
• Experience or familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma
• Familiar with data protection requirements within the Aerospace and Defense industry

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
