What does this role look like?***This position is contingent upon program award expected June 2025.• Join a fast paced dynamic team where you will be part of a small multidisciplinary team of engineers in the design and development of Complex Component Assemblies (CCAs) for test equipment used in a sustainment program.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:• Design and develop electronic circuits for test equipment.
To be effective in this role, you will need:• Strong understanding of electronic circuit design principles, including analog and digital circuits.
• 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's; or 3+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree.
• While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a
Secret clearance, thus
US Citizenship is required.

Let’s do Space!Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience in electronics design, with a focus on CCA design and development.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a
Secret clearance, thus
US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:• Strong understanding of electronic circuit design principles, including analog and digital circuits.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Experience with fuze design and development, including knowledge of fuze systems, safety requirements, and environmental testing
• Strong background in the defense industry, with familiarity with military standards and regulations (e.g. MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461)
• Knowledge of radiation-hardened (Rad Hard) electronics design principles and techniques, including total dose radiation effects, single event effects, and radiation testing methods
• Experience with design and development of electronic circuits for high-reliability applications, including fault tolerance, redundancy, and fail-safe design
• Familiarity with defense industry-specific design tools and software, such as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools or simulation software (e.g. SPICE, SPICE-RAD)
• Experience with DO-160, MIL-STD-883, and other relevant standards for electronic component testing and qualification

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
