Overview
The Installation Coordinator at TCS plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of installation services. They work closely with the Regional Installation Manager, Installation Technicians, and Assistants to maintain high standards of customer service, manage manufacturing outputs, and support field operations. This full-time, hourly position is based in Elmhurst, IL and requires some local travel.

Responsibilities
- Provide phone support to Project Coordinators, Designers, internal installers, third-party installers, and customers as needed.
- Engage with third-party installers, offering coaching and mentorship to help them successfully complete installations that might otherwise fail.
- Ensure installers have the necessary tools and materials each day before they depart to facilitate a first-pass installation.
- Assist in developing and implementing training programs for both new and existing internal and third-party installers. Additionally, support regional managers in updating market installers onmanufacturing and installation practice changes.
- Conduct timely van inspections to ensure compliance with preventative maintenance (PM) schedules, cleanliness standards, and adequate van stock to address project shortfalls.
- Participate in weekly/bi-weekly management meetings to provide insights, address challenges, and recommend process improvements to enhance installation efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with CAD, Manufacturing, and Scheduling teams to support project success and proactively identify manufacturing issues that could impact installationquality.
- Ensure compliance with TCS company policies and procedures and uphold confidentiality regarding sensitive company and customer information.
- Provide support to Regional Managers by assisting with additional responsibilities and workload as required.
Qualifications
- Industry Knowledge - Strong understanding of the installation business and industry best practices.
- 2-5 years of experience in installation/warehouse/logistics coordination.
- Able to commute to Elmhurst, IL facility.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the Chicagoland area on occasion.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Technical Proficiency - Ability to clearly and effectively explain Elfa, Avera, and Preston product installation procedures over the phone with precision.
