We are expanding a new centralised pricing team to support the Merchant Pricing function in EMEA. This will be an exciting time to join our growing team as we embark on new technology solutions to manage our business and its scheme fee and pricing aspects. A new transaction pricing solution has been implemented this year and will set a new era in Pricing. Merchant Pricing is dependent on scheme fees and interchange costs.
What you will do:
- High degree of familiarity with merchant pricing and scheme fees.
- Development and maintenance of accurate pricing models and charge-on models for scheme fees.
- Cost and fee recovery reporting, analysis and reconciliation of cost data.
- Identification of opportunities to reduce or recover costs.
- Subject Matter Expertise to support our business, internally and externally.
- Co-Management of new technology initiatives for Pricing solutions.
- Competitiveness monitoring of product pricing propositions and trends in the market to offer the best solutions for our clients and their success in the market.
- Ability to work in new areas or processes of the business to effect change or efficiency savings.
What you will need to have:
- Scheme Fee experience for pricing, cost recovery and cost allocation.
- Revenue Assurance to reduce costs and maximise recovery of fees.
- Master Data Management focus to ensure dependent MI is reliable and consistent.
- Part or qualified accountant.
- Experience in a pricing or business analyst related role.
- Experience in Merchant Acquiring.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex data models, VB, advanced formulas, and data transformation).
- SQL queries including joins and data transformation from multiple tables/data sources.
