A successful Enterprise DevOps Director at Fiserv leads the DevOps team and drives the implementation of best practices across the organization. They oversee the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of DevOps processes and tools, ensuring increased efficiency, reliability and scalability with software development and deployment pipelines.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement a DevOps strategy that aligns with organizational goals
- Lead and mentor a team f DevOps engineers in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts
- Establish metrics and KPIs to assess the performance and effectiveness of DevOps initiatives
- Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, ensuring compliance with security and governance standards
- Manage the DevOps budget, resources, and timelines while staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in DevOp, software development, or infrastructure management, with at least three years in a leadership role
- Strong, hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kuberneties), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles, Agile methodologies, and ITIL frameworks
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills, with a proven track record of driving organizational change
- Current Fiserv systems experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Experience with implementing DevOps in enterprise-scale environments
- Certification in DevOps (e.g.AWS, Certified DevOps Engineer, DevOps institute certifications)
