What does a successful Application User Support do at Fiserv?
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our financial service applications. Your role is essential in ensuring the seamless operation of our systems, enabling our clients to provide superior financial services to their customers. You will collaborate with various teams to address technical issues, implement solutions, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our applications.
What you will do:
- Provide user support by working with stakeholders to produce appropriate daily/weekly/monthly reporting
- Develop reports by investigating potential issues with current reports and generating new reports based on changing leadership needs
- Assist with application support activities, including patching, certificate updates, CI/CD pipeline changes, addressing cyber vulnerabilities, and handling change requests
- Contribute to application development by assisting in building new functionality within all parts of the application (database, services, and web pages)
What you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience with T-SQL, including parsing complex SQL statements and optimizing execution plans
- 4+ years of experience in developing and managing Windows Services using C#
- 4+ years of experience in application support within the financial services industry
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience
What would be great to have:
- Experience with VBA for reporting through SSRS
- Experience with HTML/JavaScript for managing ASPX handler pages
- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., ITIL, SQL)
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure
- Strong understanding of IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
