The Boeing Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Talent Management Senior Manager to support our Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) business unit in Berkeley, MO; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK; Ridley Park, PA; Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing talent management strategies that align with our business objectives and foster a high-performance culture. You will lead a team of HR professionals and collaborate with leaders across the organization to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
The top 3 priorities of this position are as follows:
Lead the communication, coordination and execution of key Global Talent Management (GTM) Strategies
Adapt Enterprise Tools for BDS
Facilitate Key GTM Processes
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as a member of the BDS Human Resources (HR) leadership team fully steeped in both BDS and Global Talent Management (GTM) strategy and able to speak to all GTM tools, plans, and application
Act as the voice of BDS in GTM strategy and design, ensuring that GTM objectives and priorities are aligned to critical business problems to solve
Bring industry best practices and benchmarks to help inform talent strategy and decisions
Lead the communication, coordination, and execution of key GTM Strategies in BDS
Support Human Resources Generalists (HRG) with GTM tools and processes, driving practices deeper in the organization
Act as a central focal point for tool launches – coordinating amongst BDS HR, Communications, Centers of Excellence (COE), and other critical stakeholders
Determine adaptation of enterprise GTM tools to fit BDS requirements when necessary
Set the BDS annual talent calendar in coordination with, and observance of, business unit-specific needs and within enterprise windows
Take an active role in Boeing Defense People Council and be well-versed on top talent internally and externally and able to represent them in talent discussions
Implement succession planning initiatives partnering with HRGs to ensure succession plan candidates are developed for future roles
Prepare and guide talent reviews with BDS leadership
Partner with the Business Unit to identify nominees for Leadership Development programs and other critical experiences
Support Strategic Workforce Planning and working together with business, HR and COE experts to build critical role pipeline strategies
Act as the focal for Annual Employee Engagement planning processes
Facilitate building internal and external talent pipelines
Lead the business unit annual workforce planning cycle in partnership with Finance, HRGs and the business to set our workforce strategy and long-range people plan
Partner with the BDS Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) on the annual business employee engagement plan and bringing strategy into action
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working with executives and leaders regarding strategic business goals and objectives
5+ years of experience in human resources including talent management, human resources, or a related field, with a focus on leadership development and organizational effectiveness
3+ years of experience managing direct reports
Experience developing and executing talent management strategies
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field
Experience as an HR Generalist with ownership for talent practices or as a manager with experience participating in talent processes
Experience flexing between strategy and tactics comfortably
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $152,150 - $235,750
