Job Title: RMA and Repair Operations Supervisor

Position Summary:
Dover Fueling Solutions, a global leader in fuel dispensing, payment processing and point fuel management technology, is seeking a (Return Material Autherization) RMA and Repair Operations Supervisor. The RMA and Repair Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading the RMA and Repair teams, meeting throughput expectations on RMA receiving and crediting, and managing the repair procedures and expectations from warranty returns and core exchanges through DFS exchange programs in alignment to meet our Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets.
The RMA and Repair Operations supervisor will be experienced in managing a team of operations and technical support roles, familiar with material flow procedures including receiving and return crediting, and competent in manufacturing operations including electronics repair and mechanical assembly. In this role, the supervisor will manage a team of 25+ that are responsible from receiving material, crediting returns, repairing DFS exchange and returned parts, and manage returns with vendors. They will be responsible for the training and developing their team, and driving continuous improvement across the functional responsibility. This role will work closely with other teams in the DFS Aftermarket business and other functions across DFS to be effective.
This position reports to the Director, Aftermarket.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure employees are meeting quality and delivery standards.
Be able to use manuals, drawings, test procedures and other resources for crediting, repairing, and assembling.
Identify incorrect drawings, shop order, BOMs and product flaws and complete necessary paperwork to have them corrected.
Identify easier and more cost-effective ways to build and test current product without sacrificing quality.
Provides daily reports to the manager regarding operational issues or concerns and progress against expectations.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; tracking absenteeism and maintaining time keeping; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving grievances.
Works with Engineering and Maintenance to solve process and/or equipment issues.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Provide assistance to Team Captain, creditors, material handlers, test technicians, and operators.
Assist in development of department strategy and execute on strategic expectations.
Answer calls for assistance
Manage defective material-make sure it is red tagged and rejected.
Follow and procure material and tools when needed.
Keep records associated with overtime work.
Track returns and validate throughputs are met.
Reduce and maintain returned goods inventories, and maintain repaired good stock levels.
Drive continuous improvement to the return and repair procedures.
Perform process monitoring.
Perform quality audits.
Provide input to root cause analysis.
Assist Manager to ensure proper scheduling of areas.
Complete daily employee time management responsibilities in ADP.
Fill out annual performance reviews for employees in their team two weeks before the anniversary date.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE – High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in manufacturing leadership, materials management, and/or accounting management. Experienced in Lean Process Improvements.
Proficient with MS Office products.
Able to work within Operational enterprise system (Oracle, SAP, etc.) Work in process, finished goods material, QA, Closing.
Able to manage customer relationships.
LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and emails. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to engineering, management and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS and REASONING ABILITY – Good analytic and troubleshooting skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS – Ability to always maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with management and coworkers. Strictly adhere to Dover Code of Ethical Conduct.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and sit for several hours at a time. Employee must be able to lift 40 lbs. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. May be required to work in the evenings or on weekends on occasion.
