Join Leidos as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and Elevate Your Cybersecurity Career!
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and ready to tackle cutting-edge challenges? Leidos is looking for an ISSO with an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance to join our team in Suitland, MD. In this role, you'll work with innovative systems and applications across local and cloud environments, supporting the creation and maintenance of ATO designations for IT assets.
This position requires onsite work in Suitland, MD. There may be a one day per week telework opportunity but remote/hybrid work is not guaranteed.

Your Impact
As a critical member of our team, you'll:
- Ensure full compliance of Mission Systems with security accreditation/authorization standards from organizations like ODNI, DIA, DoD, DISA, and more.
- Support the remediation of findings captured in vulnerability scans.
- Prepare and manage security documentation to secure and maintain full ATOs.
- Support risk assessments, evaluations, and technical exchanges with stakeholders to ensure compliance with RMF tools and STIGs.
- Collaborate with government leadership and agencies to influence accreditation policies and procedures.
- Attend policy meetings and deliver technical and operator training as required by government leads.
- Manage RMF documentation through XACTA (SIPRNET/NIPRNET) and EMASS (JWICS) to uphold continuous ATO designation.
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related work experience or a Master's degree and 6+ years of related work experience. Additional experience, trainings or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- IAM Level I DoD 8570 Baseline Certification(Security+ CE preferred) or ability to obtain within 30 days of offer acceptance.
- Expertise in DIACAP/DoD RMF, DCID 6/3, ICD-503, and similar standards.
- Experience working with XACTA/EMASS.
- Familiarity with IC, DoD, NAVINTEL IA, Fleet Cyber Command, and secure information/networking technologies.
- Knowledge of developing security controls, testing methodologies, and secure cloud-based solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Proven success with DoN and Cybersecurity initiatives.
- Ability to secure systems/software following IC, DoD, and industry best practices.
- Experience managing records with various types of cloud services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
