Job Summary:
Our LOE program provides our customer critical Information Assurance (IA) technical guidance and services for GPS satellites, ground control, user equipment, cryptographic integration and certification, end-to-end security engineering, foreign access issues, and key management. Our team; resolves Cryptographic Key issues, supports Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) Component Level Assessment (MCAP) approval process, supports the evaluation of GPS Operational Control System (OCX) Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and GPS-SOR-05 Key Specification activities. Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct security analysis of customer/user developed documentation to meet International Common Criteria standards, techniques and evaluation methodologies. . ·
- Provide security engineering guidance for GPS cryptographic requirements definition, implementation and key management process.
- Engage in technical/policy meetings.
- Provide security engineering guidance for certification of GPS cryptography.
- Conduct architectural and system security assessments to establish a basis for system security accreditation and risk management decisions, including review and recommendations regarding possible Cross Domain Solutions.
- Provide guidance regarding actions/activities for transition to and/or compliance with Crypto Modernization guidelines.
Basic Qualifications:
- Fourteen (14) years of System Engineering experience
- Bachelor's Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
- - Global Positioning Satellite experience
- - Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must
- Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Space/Weapon/Ground/Terminal system development and or evaluation with Cybersecurity design experience is desired.
- DoD Certification/Accreditation Process (as well as other Government Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes.
