Job Summary:
Responsible for the definition, oversight, coordination and development of technology designs, along with the related road maps and lifecycle management.
Essential Functions:
- Aligns his/her efforts across the various technical architectural disciplines within the team to develop innovative and appropriate architectures and roadmaps that enable the enterprise to deliver best-in-class services to their members , providers, partners and employees
- Provide overall architecture guidance, governance, and recommendations in support of technical objectives
- Serves as lead architect to the clinical IT teams, ensuring standards and consistency.
- Works closely with Solution Architecture and Enterprise Architecture aligning to short and long term goals.
- Direct involvement in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the enterprise
- Work with the department leadership in establishing technology architecture strategy, goals, and objectives
- Partner with peers within all Information Technology groups to promote architecture principles, standards, methods, and strategic direction for the enterprise
- Partners with Business to understand their needs and deliver solutions to meet and / or exceed their needs
- Facilitate overall analysis, design, artifacts, and technical requirements validation for strategic initiatives
- Define the future architecture and the roadmap to get from the current state to the end target
- Lead / participate in vendor architecture related assessments and reviews
- Develop technical architectures that will drive reduced cost, increased availability, improved security, client experience, and greater flexibility
- Management of the risks associated with information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies
- Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise
- Deliver engaging, informative and well-organized presentations
- Effectively executes and communicates change management
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Master’s degree is preferred
- Experience with Clinical IT, Utilization Management, Case Management, and Complex Care Coordination, Grievance and Appeals
- Experience in implementing or integrating with Care Management packages like GuidingCare (HealthEdge), Jiva (ZeOmega), Aerial (medecision), Medhok. GuidingCare experience preferred.
- Experience building integrations in and out of Care & Utilization management systems using industry standards like 275/278, FHIR, CCDA, ADT
- Experience integrating SDOH, Prior Authorization, Care Plans, Service Plans, Assessments, Claims, Enrollment & Eligibility, Provider using APIs, Web services and Event streaming
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in related areas including seven (7) years of direct experience in developing and implementing technically diverse application and infrastructure architectures for companies
- Minimum of three (3) years of Solutions Architecture experience preferred
- Possesses wide base of experience in many disciplines of information technology including: Operating Systems (Unix, Windows, Linux), Performance Management and Capacity Planning, Messaging Software and Interoperability Techniques and Standards, Business Intelligence and Analysis, Web & Server Technologies, E-Commerce Network Design and Protocol, E-Business Enabling Technologies, Storage, Directory Services, Network Engineering (Switching, Routing, Content Management), Information Technology Hardware, Data Center Designs and Consolidations, Virtualization Technology Skills, IT Service Management Principles, Cloud experience – Azure preferred

Licensure and Certification:
- ITIL v3 Foundations or greater certification preferred
Working Conditions:
General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Compensation Range:
$110,800.00 - $193,800.00

In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
