Sr. Manager, Planner/Scheduler

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic & value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle.  These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, & smart solutions to optimize planned & operating assets.

KBR is looking for a Sr. Manager, Planner/Scheduler to provide Planning & Scheduling services on a multi-year mega project to be executed in Houston.  This role will manage the successful delivery of the project’s planning and scheduling objectives through engagement and interaction with project team members.

Front End Engineering Design (FEED) experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coordinate with KBR and client project personnel to assure development and control of planner/scheduler systems and processes

  • Participate in the development of the project’s planning and scheduling strategy as part of the Project Controls and project execution plans

  • Contribute to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis

Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, Business Management, or related field

  • 10 + years of progressive experience in planning and scheduling

  • In lieu of formal education 18 + years of progressive experience in planning and scheduling

  • Must have experience in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) to be considered

  • Highly proficient in Primavera’s P6 CPM system

  • Experienced and competent with application of earned value measurement

  • Experience in downstream or upstream oil & gas

  • Proven ability to work in diverse, multi-company arrangements on large complex projects

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred Education & Skills:

  • EPC Planning/Scheduling experience
