LCV EUCOM Poland: Sr. HSE Specialist - Contingency

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines for employee and department safety.
  • Create incident reports and perform inspections to ensure conformity in all areas of HSE.
  • Interact with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes and regulations.
  • Determine requisites for and organize audits of company operated properties.
  • Keep informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards.
  • Assist in development and implementation of systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics.
  • Solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices.
  • Use experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Utilize your knowledge of Company HSE programs, policies, procedures and processes, as well as working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements on a daily basis.
  • Develop and administer the HSE program to all levels of employees.
  • Conducts survey, evaluation and investigations.
  • Develop, upgrade, and manage HSE programs, including awards and recognition programs.
  • Support the activities of subordinates.
  • Maintain records, reports, and documents to meet company or regulatory requirements.
  • Produce and support HSE education and training programs.
  • Review, monitor, and evaluate HSE site program for value and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree or additional technical or vocational training is preferred.
  • Requires at least 4 years of directly related experience.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Must be able to travel to and work in austere environments.
  • Must have a valid Passport with at least 18 months of validity.
  • Knowledge of all relevant safety standards related to area of responsibility required.
  • Requires a valid driver's license.

Candidates must meet visa and or work permit requirements for the country of assignment to be considered and eligible for employment.
