Description:You will be the Software Quality Engineer for the Systems & Software Quality Engineers (SSQE) team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of software systems and processes, aligned with AS9100 Quality Management System, Capability Maturity Model-Integrated (CMMI), Program, and Customer Requirements.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the Lower Tier Integrated Air and Missile Defense (LTIAMD) Advanced Programs team in Grand Prairie, TX. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of software systems and processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving compliance with contractual and company requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Review and approve systems, software, and test equipment requirements, design, and test documentation for compliance to requirements
-Identify root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance
-Participate/interface with engineering counterparts on program activities to assure processes and products are compliant to contractual and company requirements
-Evaluate data to identify systemic issues and trends
-Participate in the software change control board process

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree at bachelors level or higher, preferrably in one of the following disciplilnes (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software/Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience/combined education.

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Ability to travel (25%)

Experience and demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques

Ability to interpret schematic drawings,
specifications

Experience in Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration and Test

Good understanding of software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies

Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex

Ability to interpret software design and code
(C/C++) to verify implementation of
requirements

Test Equipment Hardware knowledge or background skills
Desired Skills:
STEM degree at bachelors level or higher, preferrably in one of the following disciplilnes (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software/Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred.

Certified Software Quality Engineer (ASQ CSQE)

Effective interpersonal skills, including Team
building and Collaboration

Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems/models such as Capability Maturity
Model Integrated (CMMI), International Standards (ISO), Aerospace Standards (AS), and FAA regulation

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
Certification

Experience with Government customers
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
