Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Program Manager (Level M) to join the Executive Fleet Production Support Integrated Product Team (IPT), to support the Production Execution & Integration organization in San Antonio, TX.
The Production Execution and Integration leader will lead Production Integration product team in removing constraints within the build process while optimizing the build sequence to meet the VC-25B delivery schedule. This requires supporting daily BDS operations, ensure execution, Risk, Issue and Opportunity (RIO) & Master Assumptions List (MAL) oversight, cost, and schedule across the portfolio.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction to ensure optimized build execution while partnering across Design Engineering, Liaison Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations and Quality.
- Ensuring accountability across all functions (Engineering, Quality, All Support team) in support of the manufacturing team
- Overseeing the Barge Scorecard and production support infrastructure
- Lead major projects that align to enhance parts on time, engineering improvements, quality and enable a healthy shop floor to meet schedule
- Utilize Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) as well as lead critical affordability, strategic alignment, on-time delivery, process improvement initiatives, lean, root cause corrective actions and recovery planning when necessary
- Lead team through an agile environment
- Manages employees and first-level managers & seniors performing business management activities in Program Management
- Manages, develops, and motivates employees and managers
- Lead build integration teams to optimize airplane build through structures completion, wiring and system installation, functional testing, and interiors installation
- Support program master assumption creation and maintenance as well maturation of key performance indicators associated with airplane build
- Lead RIO management as well as MAL
- Develop and mature lean improvements to improve operational efficiency of aircraft build
- Includes integration across IPTs, engineering, supply chain, operations, finance, PAG, Program office and other government leadership organizations
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience managing or leading the planning and execution of programs and projects
- Experience with RIO (Risk, Issues, and Opportunities) in project planning
- Experience in a role that required strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in team leadership
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Prior 747 experience preferred.
- Experience working in a production environment
- Prior experience working in development programs
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for $180,200 - $243,800
