What does a successful HSM Security Engineer do at Fiserv?
As a HSM Security Engineer at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in securing and managing our Hardware Security Modules. Your expertise will ensure our encryption and key management systems protect sensitive data, aligning with the highest industry standards. Your work will be integral to our commitment to maintaining secure and reliable financial services for our clients.
What you will do:
- Configure, deploy, and manage HSM devices across the enterprise.
- Implement encryption and key management protocols to secure data.
- Ensure HSM systems comply with regulatory and security standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HSM operation and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSM solutions with other security infrastructure.
- Conduct periodic audits and assessments of security controls.
- Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to HSM management.
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in configuring, monitoring and managing HSM devices (Gemalto, Safenet, Thales, HP, FutureX).
- 5+ years of experience in encryption and key management protocols.
- 5+ years of experience in ensuring compliance with security standards PCI, SOX, GDPR, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a relevant field, and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Experience in managing HSMs within a financial services environment.
- Practical experience with Java and/or Python is a plus.
- Experience working with large auditing firms.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification.
